Varieties: Breen reports a proof with a repunched 4. Beistle lists reverse with entire legend and stars recut.
Scarcity: One of the hardest dates to find in G and VG and underrated in all grades XF and below. Second most common proof in the series
Rarity Rating: G-VG R3, F-VF R5, XF-AU R4, MS R2.
Total MS PCGS/NGC = 63 (Ranking 46/73)
Total PRF PCGS/NGC = 260 (Ranking 23/24) = 26.7% of mintage.
Comments: Far scarcer in lower grades than its mintage implies and hoarded by knowledgeable collectors. Comes well struck with nice luster.
