Mintage

Business strikes: 1,788,000

Varieties: None reported.

Scarcity: A slightly better date. Low mintage for a P-mint issue, but late in the series and saved.

Rarity Ratings: G/VG R1; F/VF R2; EF/AU R2; MS R1.

Ranking: 27th in mintage, 65th in certified population (261 coins), tied for 60th in MS63 PI and 57th in Gem PI.

Comments: No proofs this year as the Mint was evidently planning to go with the new Standing Liberty design. Nice luster, but strike typically poor as with all the late dates.
