2012 FUN Show Recap

This year, The FUN started Wednesday afternoon for dealers with a 2pm setup. Because of the timing there was no “pre-FUN” show this year as we’ve seen in years past, and also no time for any other auction companies to run a sale prior to the major Heritage event. Why did the spreads on generic gold increase last week, while spot prices plunged?

The spreads on generic gold are always changing in somewhat unpredictable ways against the spot price. This past week, the sudden drop in spot prices didn’t not correlate directly to the coins.
