DLRC Auctions sells the Picky Collection of Bust half dollars and more

Results from last night’s sale of the “Picky Collection” were superb. The collection which large consisted of Bust half dollars, was assembled over the past decade by a very astute collector of these coins and was superb in quality.

John Brush and Jason Smith of David Lawrence Rare Coins worked closely with the client who was able to set his own reserves on coins to protect his substantial investment in these beloved coins.

Stats on the sale:

  • Lots in the Collection: 94
  • Lots Sold: 82
  • % of lots sold: 87.2
  • Total reserve amount on lots sold (with buyer’s premium): $303,966
  • Total amount realized on lots sold (with buyer’s premium): $330,039
