Our first highlight is an 1856 Flying Eagle 1c PCGS MS63 (OGH Rattler Holder). This coin is a rare mint-state designated piece from the Flying Eagle series. PCGS now annotates all of these issues as Proofs instead of circulation strikes, but we would argue that this piece is truly a mint state example that has lovely, original surfaces with nice eye appeal.
This week's second highlight is a 1918 25c PCGS/CAC MS67 FH. This is one of the prettiest SLQs that we've handled in years. With gorgeous rainbow toning, this piece stands above all others in this grade simply based on the eye appeal.
This week's third highlight is an 1895 $10 PCGS/CAC Proof 64 DCAM. This example is a gorgeous and rare Deep Cameo proof with fantastic eye appeal. Much scarcer than the post 1900 issues, this coin is from a mintage of just 56 coins and is bested by only five other examples at PCGS.
Of course there are many other highlights, so be sure to browse all lots in this exciting new sale before it closes on Sunday, July 22nd.
Thanks for browsing our inventory and participating in our auction!
Sincerely,
The David Lawrence Numismatic Team
