This week, we are very excited to offer The Raging Buffalo Collection, a full set of registry quality buffalo nickels. Almost every coin in this group has received our best, 5-star eye appeal rating and is uniquely beautiful in hand. Highlights in the collection include a rare variety 1916/1916 5c PCGS AU58 (Doubled Die Obverse), a 1917-D 5c PCGS MS66+, a rare overdate 1918/7-D 5c PCGS/CAC MS62, a 1920-S 5c PCGS MS65+, and a scarce date 1925-S 5c PCGS MS65 just to name a few. Some of the more interesting highlights from this week's sale include:

Our first highlight is an 1854 2 1/2 PCGS/CAC MS65. Gorgeous and original, this pre-Civil War P-mint is the finest example graded by PCGS and CAC approved for quality.

This week's second highlight is a 1916-D 10c PCGS/CAC MS64 FB with silky, lustrous surfaces with a light golden tint. it is a legendary rarity with incredibly attractive eye appeal. The key to the Mercury dime business strike set and one of the most popular of all U.S. 20th century coins, and our example is CAC approved for quality.

Our third highlight is a 1917-D 5c PCGS MS66+. This piece has full rainbow toning and proof like surfaces. A scarce date to find in full gem with only a single example graded finer by PCGS.

The final auction highlight is a 1918/7-D 5c PCGS/CAC MS62. This piece is a key overdate to the Buffalo Nickel series with lovely golden olive highlights around the rim, cascading to a silvery center and nice luster and eye appeal.
