Our first highlight is an 1856 Flying Eagle 1c PCGS Proof 64 (Eagle Eye Photo Seal). Rare, original proof Flying Eagle cent with Eagle Eye Seal of Approval. Hard coin to find based on the low mintage and popularity of this first year of issue coin.
This week's second highlight is an 1895 $1 NGC Proof 62. The 1895 is generally considered the set-stopping date to a complete Morgan set. Mintage of only 880 coins and no business strikes were issued of this date making it especially desirable for collectors. Frosty mirrors with a light golden tint, this piece is perfect for the advanced Morgan collector.
The final highlight coin is a 1799 $10 PCGS AU50 (Small Stars Obverse, BD-7). A truly beautiful example of an early Capped Bust eagle, this piece has light touches of wear on the high points and is CAC approved for quality. A real treasure from the celebrated Anthony J. Taraszka Collection.
Of course there are many other highlights, so be sure to browse all lots in this exciting new sale before it closes on Sunday, October 6th.
Thanks for browsing our inventory and participating in our auction!
