Auction 953 Lots Posted. Browse & Bid Now!

Our Sunday Internet Auction #953 is now live with a great selection of over 327 fresh, new coins, 50 No Reserve lots and 50 Vault Value items. All lots will begin closing at 8pm EST on Sunday, March 26th.

The Peachtree Classic Gold Collection is Part 2 of a collection we acquired from a collector in the heart of Georgia. This classic gold portion contains an plethora of 68 better date gold issues, with a strong focus in Gold Dollars, $3 Princess, and $10 Indians, with a few Double Eagles scattered as well. Very rarely does such a wide variety of better date issues come available, and we’re sure this selection will satisfy even the most astute gold connoisseur.

The reserves on these pieces are very favorably set for collectors, and we expect many of the coins to garner large interest, so be sure to enter your bids early! If you’d like us to take a look at any of the coins in-hand for you, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or send us an email at coins@davidlawrence.com!

Some of the more interesting highlights from this week's sale include:

This week's first highlight selection is an 1879-CC $1 PCGS/CAC MS65 (Capped Die). This piece is a are gem example of this Key CC-issue Morgan. It is very unusual to find a Capped Die in MS65 condition, let alone with the coveted CAC seal of approval.

Our second auction highlight is an 1880 $3 PCGS/CAC MS65+ ex: Pogue Collection. This very exciting key date $3 gold piece comes from a tiny mintage of just 1,000 coins.

This week's final auction selection is a beautiful and lustrous early Gold Half Eagle 1810 $5 PCGS/CAC MS64 (Large Date, Large 5). These are particularly rare with the coveted CAC sticker

Of course there are many other highlights, so be sure to browse all lots in this exciting new sale before it closes on Sunday, March 26th.
