Our Sunday Internet Auction #968 is now live with a great selection of over 300 fresh, new coins, 50 No Reserve lots and 25 Vault Value items. All lots will begin closing at 8pm EST on Sunday, July 9th. Some of the more interesting highlights from this week's sale include:
- 1652 Pine Tree 3 Pence PCGS VF35
- 1652 Pine Tree Shilling PCGS VF30 (Small Planchet)
- 1877 3cN PCGS/CAC Proof 66 CAM
- 1912-S 5c PCGS MS66
- 1918-D 5c PCGS MS65
- 1937-D 3 Legged 5c PCGS/CAC MS63
- 1801 10c PCGS AU55
- 1804 10c NGC VF20 (14 Stars Reverse, JR-2)
- 1805 10c PCGS/CAC XF45 (4 Berries)
- 1916-D 10c PCGS XF40
This week's first highlight selection is an 1851-O 25c PCGS/CAC MS64. A very important Seated quarter from New Orleans, this PCGS MS64 is the lone example in this grade at either service, and has the additional benefit of being CAC approved for quality.
This week's second highlight selection is an 1838 25c PCGS/CAC MS64+ (Seated, No Drapery). A scarce first year No Drapery issue with lovely lavender and magenta toning. Technically this coin should grade as a gem, but as it is, it is super-high end for the grade and a very tough piece to locate with the CAC seal of approval.
Of course there are many other highlights, so be sure to browse all lots in this exciting new sale before it closes on Sunday, July 9th.
Thanks for browsing our inventory and participating in our auction!
Sincerely,
The David Lawrence Numismatic Team
