Auction #980 Lots Posted. Browse & Bid Now!
Our Sunday Internet Auction #980 is now live with a great selection of over 400 fresh, new coins, 65 No Reserve lots and 25 Vault Value items. All lots will begin closing at 8pm EST on Sunday, October 1st. Some of the more interesting highlights from this week's sale include:
This week's first highlight selection is an 1869 $20 PCGS AU58. A particularly tough date from a mintage of 175,000 pieces. Frosty luster with light, prooflike surfaces highlight this underrated issue. With a post-Civil War survival rate of maybe up to 2,000 items, it makes this coin incredibly difficult, especially in mint state grades or nearly so.
This week's second highlight selection is an 1877 1c PCGS MS65 RB. Beautiful reddish-brown surfaces with fantastic eye appeal. The key to the Indian cent set and desired by nearly all collectors of U.S. coins
This week's second highlight selection is an 1878-CC 10c PCGS/CAC MS66. A gorgeous registry-quality Carson City issue with turquoise, gold, and lime tints. Only five examples of this date are graded as such with none graded finer by PCGS.
Of course there are many other highlights, so be sure to browse all lots in this exciting new sale before it closes on Sunday, October 1st.
Thanks for browsing our inventory and participating in our auction!
Sincerely,
The David Lawrence Numismatic Team
