Auction #982 Live! Browse & Bid on Lots Today!

Our Sunday Internet Auction #982 is now live with a great selection of over 250 fresh, new coins, 75 No Reserve lots and 20 Vault Value items. All lots will begin closing at 8pm EST on Sunday, October 15th. Some of the more interesting highlights from this week's sale include:

This week's first highlight selection is an 1838-O 10c PCGS/CAC MS65 (No Stars). Very popular and scarce no stars design for the Seated dime series, issued without stars on the obverse. The obverse was quickly replaced later in 1838 with stars, making 1837(-P) and the 1838-O as the only no stars issues. The O-mint is the scarcer of the two.

Our second highlight coin is an 1871 $5 PCGS MS61. An incredibly underrated date in the Half Eagle series from a mintage of just 3,200 pieces. Only three others are graded as such by PCGS with no coins graded finer. A lustrous piece with the typical, expected bag marks, but with incredibly flashy, nearly prooflike fields.

This week's final highlight selection is a 1922 Grant with Star 50c PCGS/CAC MS66+. A fully lustrous fresh gem with pale pastel color at the edges. CAC approved for quality.

Of course there are many other highlights, so be sure to browse all lots in this exciting new sale before it closes on Sunday, October 15th.
