Coins We Love: AI Coin Dealer?!

This week we're coming to you in two parts for the CWL with our staff at the Central States Show giving a little feedback on the ongoings so far, along with our office team working to keep things moving along accordingly. Unfortunately, the flu kept me from attending the show, but our A-team is still on the ground running and we're already excited about what's going to be coming home for sale.
A few words from the show:
Overall, the show has been a bit slow so far. We hit the ground running early Tuesday morning and had meetings scattered throughout the day. While it was great to catch up with friends, it was a rather disappointing day with just a few new buys and even fewer sales. Wednesday morning was PNG Dealer Day followed by dealer set up. We set up the table, bought some cool pieces, and showed off some incredible coins from an upcoming Red Carpet Rarities Auction! Wednesday was much more active, especially during dealer set-up from 4-7 pm, we were busy the whole time. We have high hopes for the rest of the show as the show opens to the public today and we have a few amazing deals in the works.
If you're at the show, visit DLRC at table 803 to buy, sell, consign, and trade! We have a nice selection of inventory highlights and a group of stellar auction highlights, including the Buffalo Center $3 Gold Collection and a world-famous $4 Stella!
The last word from John:
My wife often tells me that I always have to get the last word in... and the CWL is the only place that I tend to get that. We've noticed that quite a few places are using AI to generate some interesting descriptions, some of which have some issues with accuracy. It's certainly getting better, but it has a way to go with numismatics overall. However, it certainly can be fun to mess around with, so I'll leave you with one of the latest fads: AI Action Figures. If you see someone like this out in the wild with these really cool accessories, you might be seeing a coin dealer. :)
