Coins We Love: Special Memorial Day Issue!

As Memorial Day weekend is upon us, like many others, I am traveling to connect with friends and family, honoring the holiday while enjoying some of the traditional festivities. We wanted to give our readers an extra special CWL issue focusing on Liberty, in more ways than just one! We are highlighting many wartime issues and a piece of currency from the early days of our country.
Following John and Wes's recent trip to the PCGS show in Las Vegas, I ended the week on the road to find fresh inventory and raw coins for grading at CACG. While the drive can be long, the thrill of the hunt is always something I enjoy, not to mention the refreshing change of scenery from the office. This week, we'll expand our reach to Pennsylvania, where Jack and I will be attending the PAN show in Monroeville for a few days. If you plan to attend the show, please come by and see us!

To be honest, the joy of hitting the road and discovering new deals is enhanced by the satisfaction of providing a consistent stream of newly certified coins to our customers. With our close proximity to CAC, and as investors, we are huge supporters of the level of integrity in their grading. As they ensure that coins are graded accurately under strict standards we see this as giving collectors confidence in the quality of their purchases.
The theme of Liberty will be evident in our CWL special, which features a piece of currency dating back to 1776! Speaking of currency, our team has been diligently updating our website for the exciting launch of our first-ever currency-only auction. This auction will be filled with freshly graded and previously unseen rarities and will be followed by another paper money auction focused exclusively on Colonial currency.
In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying the long Memorial Day weekend, filled with good food, time with loved ones, and the pleasures of our hobby, as we remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Numismatically Yours,
John Call
