Coins We Love: What A Show!!

Generally, when we go to shows, we try to set some realistic goals for buying and selling to give us something to work towards. Coming to the PCGS Las Vegas event, our goals weren’t too high as we weren’t sure what we’d see here. But, I can tell you that after noon at setup (opened at 9 am), we had surpassed our goals and were going to continue blowing past them. The folks that did show up came to buy and sell coins, so we’ve been pleasantly surprised with the action.

The grading aspect of the show isn’t something we really partake in, as our goal is to find nice coins for sale and talk to customers, but from the looks of it, the PCGS table has been extremely busy, and I’m not sure how many more coins they can even handle!

We still have a day left (I write this on Wednesday), but I’ll simply say that the coin market is still extremely active and anyone who complains about the lack of coins on the market isn’t trying hard enough! Yes, the market is moving, and some prices are still climbing, but there are coins available if you know where to dig!

What else is going on? There are some great coins in this week’s Coins We Love and there are even more coming up in the next few weeks! So, please keep your eyes open and let us know if you see anything of interest and want to chat about it.

And while next week’s CWL will be coming out on Christmas Day, we will not be open on Wednesday or Thursday, so please feel free to email in requests, and we’ll get to them as soon as we can!
