Our first highlight is an 1879 $3 NGC/CAC MS63 (OH). This coin comes from a very low mintage of just 3,000 coins struck of this issue. This specimen cased in an Old NGC holder is CAC approved for quality.
This week's second highlight is an 1880 5c PCGS/CAC MS65. The 1880 is an under-appreciated key date that is very scarce in all grades. With satiny, lustrous surfaces and a light pinkish tint, this coin displays fantastic luster throughout and full gem eye appeal. This piece comes from a mintage of just 16,000 pieces.
