Our first highlight is a 1913-S 25c PCGS/CAC MS65. A gorgeous high-end example of one of the big three key date Barber quarters that displays beautiful orange and golden highlights with splashes of blue throughout the fields. The 1913-S boasts the lowest mintage of any 20th century silver coin issue with just 40,000 coins were struck and very few are preserved in high grades.
This week's second highlight is an 1883 Trade$ PCGS Proof 66+ CAM with gorgeous mirrors and light golden tints with aspirations of Deep Cameo. This issue is a proof-only date and a great type coin with a mintage of just 979 coins struck overall.
The third highlight is an 1884-S $1 PCGS MS61. This key date S-Mint with super premium-quality surfaces has light peach tints with plenty of underlying luster.
Our fourth highlight is an S.S. Central America: 1857-S $20 PCGS MS64 (Narrow Serif, With Box & COA). This piece is an exciting double eagle gold coin from the famous S.S. Central America shipwreck.
The final highlight is an S.S. Republic: 1861 $20 NGC/CAC MS61 (with Box and CD). A popular and scarce Civil War era double eagle that was recovered from the shipwreck of the S.S. Republic. Lustrous and attractive, the date is very scarce in grades above MS63, and our example is CAC approved for quality!
Of course there are many other highlights, so be sure to browse all lots in this exciting new sale before it closes on Sunday, June 9th.
