D.L. Hansen Collection Highlights

Our first highlight is a 1869 3cS PCGS/CAC Proof 67 ex: D.L. Hansen Collection. Low mintage proof of just 600 coins struck. Pretty blue and lime center tints with rose-gold rim tints. The Hansen Collection holds a Proof 67+ example for the date.

This week's second highlight is a 1913 10c PCGS Proof 67+ CAM.. Tied with a single coin as the finest graded by PCGS, there are no deep Cameo examples for the date. Beautiful, flashy white mirrors with stunning eye appeal. Comes from a low mintage proof of just 622 coins struck.

he third highlight coin is an 1831 25c PCGS MS64 (Large Letters) ex: D.L. Hansen. Beautiful original surfaces with hints of tangerine and blue. Strong details and nice luster! The Hansen Collection has a MS64+ example for the date.

The fourth highlight coin is an 1801 $1 PCGS AU53. Beautiful rainbow toned rims that cascade into beautifully lustrous, white centers. A gorgeous example of this popular type coin that simply doesn't come in a more attractive appearance!

Our fifth highlight is an 1893-CC $1 PCGS MS64 ex: D.L. Hansen.opular, scarce Carson City Morgan dollar issue with silky white surfaces and strong luster. An excellent combination of quality and relative affordability before the huge price jump for gem examples. The Hansen Collection contains an MS65 example for the date.

The sixth highlight coin is a 1900 2 1/2 PCGS Proof 66 DCAM ex: D.L. Hansen. Near flawless deep liquid mirrors beautifully contrasted against bright yellow-gold devices. Astounding eye appeal! The Hansen Collection possesses one of the finest known PR68+DCAM examples for the date.

Our final highlight coin is a 1866-S $20 PCGS AU55 (No Motto) ex: D.L. Hansen/AWA. The 1866-S No Motto double eagle is a very rare coin indeed. Struck in the final year of the no-motto design, just 120,000 coins were struck compared to over a million for 1865-S. This example displays beautiful tangerine surfaces with plenty of luster. The Hansen Collection possesses an MS61 example for the date.
