Coins We Love: A Bigger Team. A Bigger Selection. One Goal!
When thinking about DLRC, I often think of our growth since my start...23 years ago. We have expanded from 7 employees to 30 in that time period, added weekly online auctions as a core to our business model, and expanded our nationwide presence by attending more national and regional coin shows. While growth has always been important, maintaining the best customer service in the industry has been at the forefront of every decision. (While we're on the topic, take a look at our new company pictures we took yesterday! We are missing a few folks, but this is the team that makes everything happen on a weekly basis.)
If I had to answer the question "What makes DLRC truly unique in the coin business today?", my first answer is always selection. We currently have over 4,200 items listed for sale as Buy It Now items and another 1,700+ running in auction. If you search around, you find that this scope of inventory is roughly ten times larger than most major coin companies today. Not only is the inventory that much more robust, giving collectors plenty of price and quality options, but we also pride ourselves on listing over 400 new coins every week. Our inventory turnover is getting faster and faster, giving our customers new options weekly and allowing us to keep buying more great inventory! If you are a weekly reader of our CWL, you are probably aware of our volume and unique selection. For newcomers hunting down coins for your collection, you owe it to yourself to make DLRC one of your bookmarked pages to revisit often, as the selection is constantly changing.
Our selection in classic US coins is truly remarkable and uncommon for the industry, but we are also branching out into the adjacent numismatic markets as well. Thanks to our newly developed Showcase Software, we have a complete US currency catalog and a vast world coin catalog! So, we have been working to grow and offer our customers more selection and quality in both of those sectors.
