Coins We Love: The Countdown to ANA Begins!
August is upon us, and that means that the biggest coin show of the year is almost here! Although it is roughly three weeks away, DLRC is getting in gear, and we wanted to fill you in on all the exciting things that we will be doing at this year’s World’s Fair of Money in Pittsburgh. We love attending this show, especially when it's in Pittsburgh, since it is held at the David Lawrence Convention Center (No affiliation with DLRC, but fun nonetheless)!
As always, we will be there in full, bold fashion, ready to buy, sell, and accept consignments for our upcoming Fall events! As this is the biggest show of the year, we will have a huge amount of inventory ready to sell and will be looking to buy, buy, buy. We typically like to have a display from the famous D.L. Hansen Collection at this show, and this year is no different... kind of! We will be displaying the K.M.H Collection, one of Hansen's secondary sets, the current #5 finest PCGS Registry Set in the "Liberty Seated Half Dollars Basic Set, Proof (1858-1891)" category. 100% complete and boasting 35 remarkable proof Seated Halves. Charity Auction Alert: DLRC has been chosen as the auction house to offer a unique, fine art painting, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the ANA. The Laura Verschoore Painting of ANA's 1913 5C Liberty Nickel Created by NFP.IO is a fascinating piece of art combining numismatic rarity, unrivaled innovation, and artistic magnificence. The painting is of the ANA’s Bebee Specimen legendary 1913 Liberty Head Nickel, created by NFP.io and Laura Verschoore to benefit the American Numismatic Association (ANA) during the celebration of America's 250th Anniversary.
