Our Sunday Internet Auction #1002 is now live with a great selection of over 350 fresh, new coins, 50 No Reserve lots and 20 Vault Value items. All lots will begin closing at 8pm EST on Sunday, March 4th. Some of the more interesting highlights from this week's sale include:
Our first highlight is an 1880 $1 NGC Proof 65 CAM Star. Blazing white gem with beautiful mirrors and flashy, white devices. Mintage of 1,355 coins struck in proof format.
This week's second highlight is an 1899 1c PCGS MS67 RD. Gorgeous gem type coin with pristine, lustrous surfaces and beautiful, bright red color making for premium eye appeal. Only five other examples are graded finer by PCGS.
Our third highlight coin is an 1829 $2 1/2 PCGS AU53. A desirable and scarce issue from a mintage of just 3,403 coins. Pretty, lustrous fields with fantastic highlights, this tougher date to locate is a fantastic type coin for the Capped Head Quarter Eagles.
