Our Sunday Internet Auction #955 is now live with a great selection of over 375 fresh, new coins, over 50 No Reserve lots and 25 Vault Value items. All lots will begin closing at 8pm EST on Sunday,April 9th. Some of the more interesting highlights from this week's sale include:
This week's first highlight selection is an 1845 H10c PCGS/CAC Proof 64. Beautiful olive, gold, and rose tones. Impressive mirrors lie beneath the beautiful tones. An important rarity in Proof formats, the official mintage is unknown, and there are only eight specimens known to exist, one of which is in the Smithsonian. An extremely rare issue that is only bested by three examples.
Our second auction highlight is an 1826/5 1c PCGS MS62 BN. A very tough date in the series, this is one of the nicest examples that we've offered. Original brownish-olive tones with pretty remaining luster.
This week's final highlight selection is a 1921 Morgan $1 PCGS MS67. An absolutely gorgeous superb gem with fantastic luster that is tied for finest known.
