DLRC Announces the Launch of New Want List Feature

DLRC is excited to announce the launch of its new want list website feature. This multi-faceted software addition is an incredible new tool that allows collectors to follow any (and all) issues that they are interested in and will receive notifications when an example is added to the website. A simple, easy-to-use interface provides a fantastic service to collectors looking to expand upon their collection.

With the use of an extensive catalog and multiple filters, searches can be as targeted or generic as needed. A “saved search” feature has also been paired with this launch so collectors can instantly create a want list entry for any search that they wish to follow.

According to DLRC Vice President Jason Smith, “We have had this want list feature on the docket for over a year and have been working on it for the past few months. With DLRC’s extensive certified inventory of over 7,000 coins, the want list feature will be an invaluable tool for any collector looking to fill specific holes in their collection or find prospective upgrades. A lot of work has gone into making this want list the best that it can be and we will keep tweaking and expanding as we hear feedback and see opportunities for growth. We are excited for collectors to get on board and create want lists, but we are even more thrilled to assist our customers by being their partner in collecting!”

DLRC, the recipient of the NLG’s 2024 Best Industry Website Award, has long been a software innovator when it comes to numismatics and this addition to the already outstanding website is just the next step in a tradition of improvements. John Brush, President of DLRC, stated “Adding the want list was just another piece of the puzzle that we are excited to offer collectors. While we value the tradition of coin collecting, we are thrilled to combine this wonderful hobby with exciting new technologies to enhance the collecting experience. The want list is just another step in this direction and we’re thrilled to see this cutting-edge software piece as an addition to our award-winning website.”

In an effort to continually advance its customer experience, DLRC strives to keep growing and building upon its award-winning website. The want list feature is active now! Start your list today and explore this new tool at www.dlrccoins.com.

About DLRC:

DLRC, formerly David Lawrence Rare Coins, was founded in a spare bedroom in 1979 by David Lawrence Feigenbaum. A passionate collector his entire life, Feigenbaum made the jump to dealing when his collecting desires surpassed his limited professor’s budget. After David passed away from a long battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), his son John Feigenbaum took the reins and oversaw the company's growth until 2015. That August, Feigenbaum became the Publisher of CDN Publishing and passed operations to John Brush. Mr. Brush, with prominent collector Dell Loy Hansen, purchased the company shortly thereafter and continued the legacy of the collector-friendly numismatic outlet.

Mr. Brush directs the company with the help of an extremely dedicated staff of 20 employees. The management team cumulatively totals over 80 years with the company, while DLRC’s numismatic team offers 100+ collective years of experience and passion for all aspects of coin collecting. Whether the coin is $5, $50, or $5 million, they are here to serve the collector with the best quality, service, and price possible.

DLRC has handled many legendary rarities of United States numismatics including the finest certified 1796 No Pole Liberty Cap Half Cent, two examples of the 1894-S Barber Dime, a gem 1876-CC Twenty Cent Piece, the finest known 1901-S Barber Quarter, three of the twelve known 1870-S Seated Dollars, both examples of the famous 1854-S $5 Gold Half Eagle, the historic 1815 $5 Gold Half Eagle, one of the two known 1825/4 $5 Gold Half Eagle, and the Mickley-Hawn-Queller 1804 Proof Draped Bust Dollar. The company also helped with the assembly and sale of the $25 million Richmond Collection at three public auctions hosted in New York City and Baltimore, and is the curator of the All-Time Greatest Collection of U.S. Coins: The D.L. Hansen Collection.

DLRC is an industry leader in the exchange and auction of U.S. rare coins certified by PCGS, NGC, and CAC. The company holds weekly internet auctions and offers sellers, in addition to direct sales, the option to consign to these auctions.
